Needing to do something creative this year for your annual Easter Egg hunt? Here’s a list of creative Easter Egg Hunt ideas from golden eggs to balloons!
One of my favorite spring memories is the annual Easter egg hunts we would have at both of my grandparents homes growing up. One side was more elaborate than the other, complete with golden eggs that were the most coveted because they had a big prize inside! The best prize was going to lunch with grandma and grandpa. My other grandmother would do the egg hunt in her house but she always had some delicious food to go with it.
Once my kids were born, the egg hunt tradition began again. We stopped doing them as our extended family grew bigger and my grandparents passed away. My kids are still the only grandkids on that side of the family so they have plenty of eggs to find! Last year, our family friends participated with us and brought silly string along. It was so much fun and it gave us a different element to change things up a bit. Traditions are great but making them new again is okay, right?
If you’re looking for something new to do for your annual hunt, here are some great ideas I found that are perfect for all ages!
If you would like something more on the religious side, here’s an idea to help kids understand the Easter story better. You can put them in a basket to give to your family or hide them in a hunt so everyone can complete the story with their eggs.
