Fall is in full swing and I feel like our days are becoming more and more busy. Am I the only one? Between school, practices, and lessons, I feel like we are in the car more than anything else and I have officially become a “mom chauffer”! I knew it would happen one day and here we are. Because our days are so busy, and often down to the wire, I don’t have much time to fix lunches or snacks. My oldest is in school all day now and is always famished when I pick him up from school. In fact, the first thing he usually says when he climbs in the car, “do you have anything to eat?” He’s a growing boy and loves to eat! I have been on the hunt for easy snacks and I found my answer in the form of Welch’s Graham Slam! PB&J’s. They are the perfect thing to have on the go and my kids love them. To make things a little more exciting, I created some fun notes to pair with the snacks I put in his backpack and on the way to practice.
I love that I can grab something on the way out the door. I printed off the notes and have them on my desk, already printed and cut, so I can throw them in with lunches or pair them with our afternoon snack.
All you need to do is print them off either yourself or upload them to your nearest copy center.
Next, cut them out. You can print off multiples and cut them out at once to have everything ready to grab and go.
If you really want to be prepared, punch a hole in one of the notes and tie it up to your snack with twine. It adds a fun touch! And if you’re in a carpool, be sure to bring some for the other kids and you will for sure be the favorite.
Aren’t they fun? There are 4 on the Halloween sheet and 4 on the Fall sheet. These would be fun for favors at parties or to give out to friends and neighbors!
I found the Welch’s Graham Slam! PB&Js at Walmart, in the frozen section, right next to other prepared PB&Js.
