This is my favorite time of year, besides Christmas, of course. It’s a fun time to be with family, friends, watch fireworks, and be grateful.
I find myself looking at the fireworks every year and thinking about all I have to be grateful for in my life. I guess I get reflective while watching the lights explode in the sky. I think about my grandfather especially who was a World War II Veteran and a personal hero.
In addition to the company and the fireworks, I love the food! I can’t resist a good hamburger or steak or potato salad. But the best part of any good picnic or BBQ is the dessert.
