Last week, my hubby and I saw “Cinderella 2015” for our date night. Yes, my sweet husband came with me and he ended up loving the movie just as much as I did!
“Cinderella” had so many wonderful lessons and take-aways, the most prevalent being the theme of the movie to “Have Courage and Be Kind”. I knew when I got home that I needed to have this up in our home. Part of our family motto is to “Be Kind”, so this fits perfectly into what we have been teaching our children.
I had a white $0.99 IKEA frame in my closet. I love these frames-they are great to have on hand! I spray painted it with Metallic Gold Spray Paint by Krylon (I’m obsessed with it), and then used Diamond Dust Glitter Blast Spray, also by Krylon, to give it some extra sparkle.
The final touches were some ribbon I had in my stash and a butterfly charm from the Dollar Store left over from my Dollar Store Dress Up Series. If you’ve seen the movie, butterflies are on the blue ball gown and glass slippers that Cinderella wears.
If you haven’t seen “Cinderella 2015”, you need to! It has a lot of hear, great lessons, and is perfect for everyone in the family. I can’t wait to see it again! The printable in the frame is a 4×6 but I also made an 8×10 if you would like something bigger. The downloads are below!
If you are planning on taking your kids to meet Cinderella in person, you need to plan your family vacation with Get Away Today. They are THE experts in all thing Disney, they have been doing it for 25 years, and can help you create the perfect vacation for you and your family. My favorite thing about them is that they have a great Layaway Plan. You only have to put $125 down at the time of booking and then have until 2 weeks before you travel to complete the payments. It makes these vacations so doable! We are going to Disneyland in a few months and I cannot wait to take my own self with Cinderella myself!
