It’s General Conference soon and I cannot wait! I especially love that it’s fall-the two things together are my favorite time of year. While I’m watching and listening, I enjoy having a small project to work on because it actaully helps me listen better.
I created a General Conference coloring book with room on each page for notes or to write down your favorite quotes or thoughts. It’s a great gift idea for visitng teaching or to give your Young Women!
In addition to the coloring page, I wanted to make a fun little gift tag that would make packaging it up a little more colorful and fun! The tag says “Color Your World with General Conference”. It prints off four to a page.
Attach it to a box of crayons or colored pencils, print off the General Conference coloring book, and add a little chocolate for the perfect gift to deliver for the weekend. If you grabbed extra crayons and colored pencils while they were on sale for back to school, you already have what you need.
You could also package up the crayons with a coloring book from the dollar store to give to younger children too. One of the traditions we have is giving our kids a new coloring book or notebook to keep them busy and encourage listening. Now that they are a little older, having a small activity definitely helps.
Plus, I enjoy listening to conference without havig to play referee or stop them from fighting every few minutes. Anyone else know the feeling?
I always try to create things that are easy but still make a statement, and I believe these tags do just that. You can literally have several boxes ready in under 30 minutes, especially if you already have the crayons or colored pencils on hand!
How to you like to enjoy conference?
