So I’ve decided I really need to stop visiting the dollar store. There’s just too many great things that just need a little love! I always come home with more than I went in to get.
They have some fun things in their kitchen section, including towels, placemats, and two types of oven mitts. They come in several colors too! And if you add a little bit of personality to them, you have a great gift for Christmas, birthday, or even for a wedding.
For this mitt, I used this fabulous gold sparkle heat transfer vinyl from Daily Craft Vinyl. It’s gorgeous!
This cute design was in the Silhouette shop already to go. Love my Silhouette Cameo machine!
All I needed to do was measure it out so it fit perfectly the way I wanted it to. Be sure to flip the image so it’s the mirror or it will come out backwards. Here’s a great tutorial video from Kim at Daily Craft Vinyl. These guys are the experts in all things vinyl!
It’s really that easy. Cut out the vinyl, peel off the design, use your iron, and you’re done! Put this cute little mitt with a box of cake mix, brownies, or cookies.
