Recently, I took a girls’ trip to Las Vegas and rode in style with the 2015 Kia Sedona! Thanks to DriveSTI for making this happen. We received no compensation for this review. All opinions are our own.
It’s been a long time since I jetted off with girlfriends for a weekend away. In fact, I don’t think I have ever done it before! A month ago, I had the chance to share a weekend in Vegas with some girlfriends and we had the time of our lives!
Who knew how fun it could be to get a group of moms and bloggers together for some fun, relaxation, and a little work thrown in? I felt like a teen again. A group of us traveled to Las Vegas to attend the Affiliate Summit West. We roomed together, attended classes and parties, and enjoyed some restaurants and sites too.
Because we had the opportunity to see the city while we were there, we needed a vehicle that could accomodate us. Not only did the 2015 Kia Sedona provide that but it was full of luxury, comfort, and class! I felt like a celebrity riding around the Las Vegas Strip with my girls.
The Kia Sedona is an incredible vehicle. One of my favorite features is that, while keeping the key in your pocket or purse, it will automatically lock or unlock doors when you are in its proximity. No more standing outside and digging for the key-you can do that while sitting in the car (really helpful when it’s raining!). It also knows when you walk behind the car and detects if you are waiting for the trunk to open. The perfect feature for loading luggage in the trunk. It has a push button ignition (you have to push on the brake at the same time as you press the start button) so you don’t have to fumble around with keys anymore. Of course, the key has the unlock/lock, sliding door opening, as well as opening the trunk on it too.
I seriously LOVED this car. The seats were comfortable and I loved that they reclined! Yes, you read me right. The seats recline. I wanted to take a nap just to try it out. They are captain’s chairs with a footrest that comes out when the chair reclines. They are also heated (which I love!) and full adjustable.
The Kia Sedona also featured Satellite radio, navigation, touchscreen AND button controls, two sunroofs (one in the front and one in the back with separate controls), plenty of storage space. and plugins for USB devices like phones and tablets.
I love how smooth and quiet the ride is in the Kia Sedona. It is a dream to drive- like you are floating down the road. It has sensors that let you know when you are getting to close to another car or drifting in your lane. Its cameras are all around you and help you when parking or backing up. In a busy city, being able to see all angles is a great help in tight parking! It also has mirrors that automatically fold in when the car is turned off and fold back out when it is on. I’m notorious for running into the side mirrors with my bags or elbows so I really loved this feature!
Honestly, I really did LOVE this car. We had no stress when it came to driving, parking, and getting around Las Vegas. I always appreciated feeling safe and comfortable while driving. If you are looking for a car that is complete luxury, comfort and style – then you need to go test drive a Kia Sedona right now! You will fall in love. It is one of the nicest “family” cars I have ever been in.
