This was a super easy and quick creation. Have you seen the clocks at Ikea? They are about $2.99 and just scream to have something fun done with them. I decided to use my chalkboard vinyl from Pick Your Plum, along with my stash of Washi Tape from them, to put this clock together. It did require a little ingenuity. The face of the clock is just a piece of paper stuck with glue to the insides. There isn’t a base to stick the vinyl to. I found some cardboard from our diaper boxes and traced the circle to make a base. Easy peasy! The vinyl stuck right to it. Before adding that in, I used two rolls of washi tape and alternated between them. Then I stuck the base in, added another layer of washi tape around the inside part of the circle, and stuck the clock parts back in. That’s it! I love writing new messages on it. And when I get sick of the color, I can easily add new washi tape (I’m excited to change it up for Christmas!).
