I like to give the girls something at the beginning of each month that coincides with the Value for the month. This month happens to be Integrity. But, because it was a new year and people were making resolutions, I wanted to encourage them to make Personal Progress a part of their goals. So, I opted to go with a New Year treat.
I love pudding. A month ago, I was at Smith’s and saw their pudding cups on sale and I knew I needed to something with it. Immediately I thought to do something like “Pudding in the effort…”. Yep, I’m clever like that! A week or so later, I found these adorable little silver plastic spoons at the Dollar store-24 for $1. They were a perfect pair! My friend also gave me the idea to incorporate something about eating from a silver spoon…
It was a cute, easy little treat. I had some little heart goodie bags, also from the Dollar store, and a bag of purple shred. I put the shred in the bags, added a cupcake liner for fun and color, and then the pudding. I tied it off with some baker’s twine (I use it for everything!) and tied the spoon and little card to the twine. Voila! It was super cute and once again showed off my cheesiness to the girls. Ha, ha! The cheesiness seems to work; at least they know I don’t take myself too seriously and like to have fun.
Here’s the tag I used if you’d like it for yourself!
