If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with memory keeping. I have been digital scrapbooking like crazy the past several years and I’ve been getting into Project Life too.
The debate I’ve always had is what to do with my digital scrapbook pages. Should I print them out and stick them in albums? Or should I print them off in photo books?
Well, I do both! For big events, like the birth of our kids, our wedding, family vacations, etc, I scrapbook them and put them into books. I LOVE our books from Shutterfly. And my kiddos love to sit down and look through them. There is nothing better for a five year old than looking at pictures of himself! Here’s one of a vacation we took in 2009 when my oldest was just an infant!
If you don’t digital scrapbook, not to worry. They have a great selection of templates and all you need to do is stick the pictures in, journal, and you’re done! They make great gifts for grandparents too.
Right now, Shutterfly is offering a free 8×8 20 page photo book to all of their customers, you just need to pay shipping. It’s the perfect way to try them out and get a great keepsake in return (or you can use it as a Christmas gift!). You can add extra pages for an additional cost.
Just use the promo code BOOK4FREE at checkout. It does expire September 11 so hurry quick!
Also, all new customers can get 101 prints for free with promo code 101WOOT! So while you’re making a photo book, you can print off some of those pictures to share. This also expires September 11.
Also, here’s a fun “treat”! Treat by Shutterfly is offering one free card to new customers with code TREATNEW. They have darling cards for any occasion and you can personalize them with photos, messages, and even a gift card (they print the gift card inside). That’s my kind of card!
