Hi there! As the Personal Progress adviser in my ward, I’m always coming up with ways to remind my girls to be working on their goals. There are so many fun ways to motivate and encourage them, and to make Personal Progress fun as well.
I recently decided it would be fun to take cupcakes to the girls. Cupcakes are cute, tasty, and immediately make the recipient feel special. To add some extra flair, I came up with these cupcake toppers. I printed them off and used a large (2.5 inch) scallop punch to punch them out. I wasn’t always accurate with my punching but they still looked cute! I attached the cutouts to my favorite paper straws (the straws were cut down) with double sided tape and stuck them in the cupcakes. Sprinkles completed the fun and, if I had thought ahead sooner, I would have used some colorful cupcake wrappers too.
You could use these cupcake toppers for:
-handout reminders like I did
-for Young Women In Excellence
-New Beginnings
-package them up in cupcake boxes and drop them off with a note for a birthday or just because
-for Personal Progress activity nights
