So many people can boast having a little bit of Irish in them. I’m anxiously waiting my DNA results from My Heritage and Ancestry.com to see exactly how much I have! My Dad has 40% and we have quite a bit of Irish on my Mom’s side of the family. I’ve always claimed that my passion or “Irish fire” is a result of my family’s heritage! And I’m proud of it! I’m really lucky too.
I love decorating and celebrating this fun holiday. Gold, yellow, green… it’s such a fun way to get ready for spring and have some fun with the family! The only thing I wish I could do is wear green…it’s never been a good color on me, no matter what shades I wear. I look pale and sick. Anyone else have the same problem? Luckily, I can wear white and black with green on it and still get away without any pinches for not wearing green.
One of the easiest ways to decorate is with printables. I have frames around the house that I swap out with holiday printables. It’s an easy way to decorate for every holiday and bring some fun change to our decor.
This printable is a fun way to celebrate and it’s optimistic too! A reminder that we are all lucky in our lives, whether it’s family, friends, home, love, pets… whatever blessings you value.
You could also print this off and put in a dollar store frame to give as a gift. Let them know you are lucky to have them in your life! It would be a fun girlfriend gift. Just wrap it up with some cute St. Patrick’s day ribbon, washi tape, or wrapping paper. I also like stocking up on frames at Ikea. They are a great price and great to have on hand!
Download the printable below. It’s an 8×10.
