Sweetheart Fruit Tart

An easy tart perfect for Valentine's day or wedding showers!

  • One roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • Filling:
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 2-3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp lemon extract
  • Raspberries strawberries, and mint leaves for garnish


  1. Cut sugar cookie dough 1/2 inch thick. Press into heart shaped pan cavities, pressing up the sides of the pan to create a "bowl". Do not leave it too thick.
  2. Bake according to directions on package.
  3. To make the filling, whip cream cheese until fluffy and light.
  4. Add in powdered sugar. Start with 2 cups and add more according to taste and desired consistency.
  5. Mix in vanilla or lemon extract (may add more according to taste).
  6. Whip until smooth.
  7. Fill tart shells when cooled with filling.
  8. Garnish with fruit and sprinkled powdered sugar.
