Make these easy cones filled with chili as inspired by the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land and enter to win a trip to Disneyland!

My family and I ADORE Disneyland. It’s honestly one of my favorite places in the world! I grew up going there about every 4 years. I couldn’t wait to one day take my own kids and enjoy the magic through their eyes. We have been a few times with them, with our most recent trip in October. And we have teamed up with some other bloggers and Get Away Today to give one of you a Southern California vacation! Get Away Today are our favorite company to work with and we planned our trip last year with them (ask about their $125 layaway plan!). You can also use my special code EVERYDAYFAMILY to save more money, just in case you don’t win (but you can still win by getting a discount and layaway!).

One of our favorite places to hang out was in Cars Land. My boys LOVED it, especially my 5 year old. He loves anything to do with “Cars” so this was heaven to him! When we visit Cars Land, our favorite place to grab a bite is at the Cozy Cone Motel. They have so many yummy options and they all come in a bread cone. Our favorite is the Chili Cone Queso.

When you see the bread cone at Disneyland, it may seem like it’s one of those things that would be hard to replicate at home. It seemed that way to me the first time I tried it.

But it is actually really easy! If you’ve made breadsticks before, you can make these bread cones at home.

First, you need frozen bread rolls. You could make your own too if you like doing that but the frozen dough is one less thing for me to worry about. Thaw it out according to directions but don’t let it rise! I used the big Texas rolls…

Next, roll out each piece of dough into a long rope. Grab a waffle cone and wrap it in aluminum foil. Spray with cooking spray (don’t forget this step!!).

Wrap the dough around the cone, starting at the top and pinching off at the bottom.

Your cones should look like this! Bake according to the dough’s package directions until lightly brown. Let them cool.

Remove the aluminum foil wrapped waffle cones carefully from the bread. If you put enough cooking spray on them, they should come right out!

Now you can fill it up with whatever you’d like! We really love chili so we fill it up with our favorite chili recipe (coming soon), cheese, and Frito’s, just like they do at the Cozy Cone.

Some other fun ideas would be to fill it up with Mac & Cheese or melt some butter and sprinkle it with cinnamon & sugar and fill it up with fresh fruit and whipped topping. Yum!

They would be so fun to make for a “Cars” inspired party or to get your kids excited for their upcoming trip!

And if you feel inspired by the Chili Cone Queso, take a look at what my friends have come up with too!!
