An adorable Valentine printable to handout at a classroom party, for your children to handout to friends, or for any other Valentine’s Day party!
With boys in the house, we are always on the hunt for fun, not “girly” (in the words of my five year old), and cool Valentine’s to hand out.
While looking through the shelves at the store, we’re met with the same super hero, Disney, and cartoon-themed cards, some with little treats or toys. They are definitely cool but not always fit for the budget. Plus, as my son said, “they aren’t creative” (he’s a boy after my own heart!).
At Target, we found some fun little dinosaur erasers. They make fun additions to a pencil box and are appreciated by Moms who don’t want their kids getting hopped up on too much sugar at their Valentine’s Day parties. I know I appreciate it (though I don’t mind snagging some of their goodies for my own stash-yes, I’m that Mom).
We snagged the Dinosaurs, which came in at $1.50 for 6 erasers (we needed 12 for preschool class), and trooped home. I created a little card to go with it, used some red yarn I found in the dollar section at Target and clear baggies to wrap up the dinos, and we have a fun, unedible, but usable, Valentine! And it’s perfectly masculine for my little guy.
I have seen little dinosaur erasers at other stores like Walmart and Michaels. You could also grab a bag of dinos from the dollar store, my favorite place to shop and find little treasures!
To download the Dinosaur Valentine’s, click the box below. They come 9 to a page as a pdf, perfect for printing at home or sending to your favorite print shop (it’s what I have been doing until I get a nice printer again!).
