Spring time is amazing! Along with the warmer weather, our family finds itself much busier with the beginning of baseball. With two very active little boys, we end up having practices and games 5 days a week! It’s so much fun and I love nothing more than seeing my kids learn new skills, succeed in their goals, and make new friends. There is one downside to our busy schedule this time of year-I have almost no time to cook! I need fast meals that are both nutritious and tasty. And I need someone to do my shopping for me!
Traditionally, beef stroganoff isn’t a recipe that people think of when they want a fast meal. This recipe actually uses ground beef instead of steak which is the main reason why it cooks so quickly. In fact, the noodles sometimes take longer than the stroganoff!
And all you need to make this family favorite meal are a few ingredients-beef, sour cream, onions & mushrooms, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Worchestire Sauce, and noodles.
But even with an easy recipe, you still need the ingredients on hand, right? Grocery shopping sometimes gets overlooked during our really crazy weeks but thankfully, I don’t have to worry about not having my pantry and refrigerator stocked because of Winder Farms.
Winder Farms delivers my order every week on my delivery day before 8 am so I always know that I have what I need! My kids get excited to find the bags on our porch before we leave for school in the morning.
On a busy weeknight, I know I can grab a pound of ground beef, mushrooms, onions, and sour cream to whip up this Easy Beef Stroganoff that are farm fresh and hand delivered. You can taste the freshness too!
Once the stroganoff is ready, I like to pair it with a salad and slices of fresh bread, both products that I am always sure to add to my Winder Farms order. They even have full salad kits, taking the guess work out of it for this busy momma!
I love their selection. They have local products that are unbelievable! We tried a local cheese called Beehive Cheese. It’s amazing! I may or may not have eaten most of it myself… And the bacon was seriously the best bacon we’ve ever had. It was Honey Cured and certainly won me some extra points with my boys.
If you’ve lived in the area for long, you may recognize the name of Winder Dairy. I grew up waiting for the milk man to deliver our milk, eggs, and bread every week to our milk box. It was so fun to go out and see what my mom had ordered! I even remember taking field trips to their dairy in elementary school. I can still see the lines of cows being milked and getting to try the cheese curds. Yum!
Winder Dairy became Winder Farms to offer its customers more than 400 products for home delivery from fresh produce to meat to baked goods and more. I can add what I need for the week to my order and have it delivered right to our home.
My kids have their favorites that I never fail to add to our order. If I do forget, I have some pretty disappointed boys on my hands! We love the creamy chocolate milk. I had to start ordering two because we go through it so fast.
This past week, we tried the Vegetable box. It comes filled with fresh vegetables. It was like a treasure box for my son. He just learned about how food grows and he was fascinated!
Especially when he saw just how fresh it all was… “Mom, you can still see the roots!” That’s when you know it’s fresh.
We have so many other family favorite recipes that we pull out and use every week. I’m so happy I don’t have to worry about not having the right ingredients on hand. And you don’t have to either!
